Two Friends. One Purpose.
Every Untundra product has a story and that story starts with two guys who grew up working, learning, and living on Texas soil. John and Todd didn’t build this brand in a boardroom. They built it out of a shared respect for quality, a lifetime of real experience, and a belief that the gear we carry should outlast the trends.
John and Todd grew up not far from each other in the Houston area. Their childhoods weren’t filled with luxury but they were full of hard lessons, busted knuckles, and learning to take care of the things that mattered.
Later, they crossed paths again in college. They built a friendship that would become the backbone of something more, a brand rooted in durability, grit, and practical design. That’s where the seeds of Untundra were planted.
Today, they live in two different corners of Texas, but they’re still aligned on the mission:
• Todd lives in Colleyville, just outside of Dallas. He’s the forward-thinker making sure the brand stays sharp, the designs stay functional, and that every product carries the weight of what we stand for.
• John lives in Driftwood, outside of Austin. He’s a full-time rancher who lives what we build. Every day he puts Untundra gear through the kind of real-world abuse it was made for. And if it doesn’t hold up, it doesn’t make the cut.
Why It Matters
We don’t chase trends. We don’t over-design.
The story behind Untundra is the same story you’ll find behind every scarred leather pack and field worn strap: honest work, earned trust, and products that do what they’re supposed to.
From Houston neighborhoods to backroad ranches, this brand wasn’t born out of luxury it was built from the ground up, the Texas way: with purpose, loyalty, and a whole lot of leather.
